Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Valid RN license with school nursing experience, or LPN/LVN licensure with relevant school healthcare experience
• Strong knowledge of health management in educational settings, including student health assessments, medication administration, and emergency care
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain student health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies
• Provide first aid and manage acute and chronic health conditions during school hours
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Develop individualized healthcare plans and educate students and staff about health-related topics
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services as needed
