A nonprofit organization in New York City is currently seeking a compassionate, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Pediatric/Foster Care Medical Clinic in the Bronx. This role requires dedication to promoting the health and well-being of vulnerable youth through comprehensive care.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm (40 hours per week
• Setting: Foster Care clinic

Responsibilities:

• Providing general medical care and treatment to supported individuals onsite
• Conducting physical examinations and preventative health measures under NP supervision
• Conducting health evaluations, assessments, and screenings with follow-ups
• Reviewing Pediatric guidelines for care, including immunizations and testing
• Recording physical findings based on patients' conditions
• Developing comprehensive patient care plans
• Conducting medical examinations of youth after incidents
• Providing health education to youth support, including reproductive health education
• Administering medications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working with Pediatric patients
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Medication Administration, First Aid, and Triage
• Clinical and Case Management experience

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Previous experience with Foster Care, Residential, or Juvenile Justice-involved youth.
• Experience in a similar medical setting
