- Clinical Supervision: Lead, manage, and evaluate the daily functions of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff on your assigned unit during the NOC shift, ensuring optimal patient flow and safety.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all facility policies, state, and federal regulations, upholding the highest standards of professional practice.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Oversee and maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely resident records, including detailed admissions, discharges, focused assessments, and precise medication administration records (MARs).
- High-Quality Resident Care: Perform regular patient rounds and focused room checks (especially for new admissions). Provide direct care and assistance as needed, acting as the clinical resource to the staff to ensure the highest standard of resident care is consistently delivered.
- Communication: Effectively communicate critical resident status changes to physicians and nursing leadership.
- Required License: Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and active, unrestricted Wisconsin license.
- Experience: Proven, recent experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or comparable sub-acute setting is required.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to act as a proficient clinical resource, capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong computer proficiency is necessary.
- Leadership: Prior staff management, supervision, or Charge Nurse experience is highly preferred.
