We are located on a beautiful 49-acre ranch-style campus where we provide services and care for at-risk boys ages 12-18. We have daily visitors such as turkeys, deer and even wild peacocks. We also have two lakes stocked with fish for both kids & staff to enjoy whenever possible.

What You Will Do/Day In The Life

The Registered Nurse at Hope Forest Academy works as a staff member of the Student Services Team and is primarily responsible for coordinating the daily healthcare activities & tasks, ensuring adherence to the healthcare guidelines, and implementing safety standards for the youth. In this role, you will manage the students care according to their needs, obtain doctors’ orders, make sure prescriptions are filled and maintained at all times, ensure all documentation is completed properly, distribute medication to youth, maintain inventory and follow policies & procedures accordingly.

To be considered you should be a currently licensed Registered Nurse in Florida, be empathetic, patient, work well on a team and treat others with respect. You should have a desire to work with troubled teens and be able to pass a DCF criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
