This opportunity is for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing, located in Darlington, SC. This contract role requires a dedicated and detail-oriented RN to support surgical teams and ensure exceptional patient care throughout cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism and deliver excellent customer relations in alignment with Service Excellence Standards.
• Assess patient needs through observation, history, physical exams, and diagnostic data analysis.
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team activities; respond effectively in emergent situations.
• Implement nursing interventions according to the physicians prescribed plan of care.
• Complete the Safe Surgery checklist accurately and promptly.
• Document all patient care information thoroughly and timely.
• Prepare the operating room and position patients on the operating table.
• Act as a communication liaison between the operating team and patient families.
• Utilize health and safety equipment to maintain sterile fields and safety.
• Manage supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth department operation.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
• Perform circulating duties efficiently, with a willingness to participate in scheduled call rotations.
