This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting, reporting directly to the Nurse Manager/Director.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet personal learning needs by attending relevant education programs.
• Utilize patient education materials and assess readiness to learn.
• Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate care and ensure continuity.
• Provide safe and competent care for patients with complex needs.
• Perform point-of-care testing and adhere to standards and policies.
• Organize and prioritize patient care; consult resources for complex issues.
• Set and achieve professional growth goals while supporting unit objectives.
• Communicate effectively and provide feedback to coworkers.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and cost-effective care.
• Assess patient needs, anticipate discharge, and advocate for family support.
• Plan care collaboratively using multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness.

Work Environment

The work environment is set within a hospital, specifically within the Staffing Pool. This provides flexible nursing coverage across all inpatient units and supports care for inpatients being held in the Emergency Department.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $113256.00/yr.

• Total Amount (4 yrs): $35,000
• Payment Schedule: o 6 Months: $1,500 o 1 Year: $3,500 o 2 Years: $8,000 o 3 Years: $12,000 o 4 Years: $10,000 ________________________________________ RNs (Inpatient DAYS – 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, Float Pool)
• Total Amount (3 yrs): $25,000
• Total Amount (4 yrs): $35,000
