Title: Registered Nurse - L&D

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract, 3x12 Hour Shifts

Compensation

Pay Range: $54.88-$78.40 Per HR

Description

• Provide competent nursing care based on theory and research.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on health promotion.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Engage in quality and safety practices.
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately.
• Advance clinical competence through professional development.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs.
• Integrate assessment and intervention skills.
• Prioritize patient care and delegate tasks.
• Conduct purposeful hourly rounding.
• Facilitate patient throughput and resource management.
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license in NYS
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• 2 years of intrapartum experience
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• 1 year travel experience (for travel positions)
• Experience with electronic health records preferred
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Associate degree considered with relevant experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
