Summary

The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include:

• Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
  
  

This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 2 years Operating Room experience as an RN. Charge experience is preferred. Board running experience is preferred. This position will focus on General and Thoracic surgery lines.
