Position Summary

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse provides care to patients in the Intensive Care and Intermediate Care settings, Cardiac Overflow Unit (COU), Critical Care and IMC overflow areas, and Psych Hold areas.

  • This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Job Requirements

Minimum:

  • Two (2) years’ experience as an RN in Critical Care.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
  • CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA
  • CT CPRACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support – AHA
  • NIHSS = NIH Stroke-AM Stroke ASC- Nat'l- Training upon hire/transfer.
  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Preferred

  • Float Pool experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Certification in Specialty Area.

Pay Range

$75.01 - $78.01 /hour
