WESTPARK SPRINGS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH HOSPITAL
Nurse Educator Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Type: Part-time 20 hours a week

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
Provide education and training to staff as directed, including CPI and CPR classes. Assist with ensuring that staff meet regulatory requirements.
Develops training or coaching to address system-wide or individual gaps in meeting performance standards. Provides nursing support to maintain skills and to monitor changing needs.
This position facilitates evidenced-based research within a specialized area of nursing and clinical areas. Collaborates with medical practitioners to
incorporate nursing processes into the plan of care for a specialized group of patients.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Additional requirements include:
Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, Adult, Adolescent and geriatric patients preferred.
Previous experience as a nurse educator preferred
.Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
-
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
