A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to support the health and well-being of students in an early childhood and elementary school setting. This contract role begins in January and will span the current school year, providing essential nursing care and health education to young learners in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivering daily nursing care, assessments, and first aid to students
• Managing and implementing health plans for students with chronic conditions
• Conducting vision and hearing screenings as required
• Collaborating with school staff and families to promote student health and safety
• Maintaining accurate health records and ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Providing health education tailored to early childhood and elementary students
  
  

Desired Qualifications And Experience

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience working with children, preferably in an early childhood or elementary school environment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and school personnel
• Ability to manage emergencies calmly and efficiently
