Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced operating room across various service lines.
• Manage surgical cases including general, orthopedic, joint replacement, urology, endoscopy, trauma, and robotic procedures (including Da Vinci systems).
• Demonstrate competence in specialized cases such as bariatrics, OB/GYN, ENT, cataract/retina surgeries, vascular thrombectomy, and C-sections.
• Handle emergency situations with confidence, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocol.
• Accurate and timely charting using current EPIC system within the last six months.
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Current, active North Carolina or Compact Registered Nurse license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon submission.
• Minimum of 2-3 years operating room experience across all service lines.
• At least one successful travel assignment as an OR Nurse.
• Extensive experience with cataract/retina, vascular (thrombectomy), and C-section procedures.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting within six months is mandatory.
