An 8-week contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with dialysis experience to provide specialized care within dialysis units. This role involves working primarily from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM and requires a commitment to every other weekend shift, including Fridays and Saturdays. Additionally, the assignment includes on-call responsibilities twice during the contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing acute and chronic dialysis treatments.
• Manage operation of Braun dialysis machines with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Float between two campus locations as necessary to support patient care demands.
• Respond promptly and effectively during scheduled on-call periods covering weeknights and weekends.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Current RN licensure in New Jersey or an active compact license.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two years experience specifically in dialysis nursing, encompassing both acute and chronic care.
• Travel nursing background is preferred for this assignment.
  
  

Schedule

• 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM shifts.
• Every other weekend coverage on Friday and Saturday.
• Two weeks on-call per contract, with specified nighttime and weekend hours.
  
  

Additional Details

• Uniform requirement: navy blue scrubs.
• Influenza vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions accepted.
