Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for cardiac medical patients including those with MI, acute/chronic heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and stable dysrhythmias.
• Manage patients undergoing or recovering from cardiac cath procedures, ablations, cardioversions, pacemaker, and ICD insertions.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, and insulin drips.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring equipment and various medical devices including mechanical lifts and portable pulse oximetry.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care in line with hospital protocols.
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Proficient in cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical nursing.
• Current ACLS certification is required.
• Experience with cardiac procedural patients and managing cardiac drips.
• Ability to work well in a team, adaptable, and patient-focused approach.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and medication scanning preferred.
