The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing services in a public health setting to promote, protect, and improve the health of individuals and the community. The RN delivers clinical care, health education, disease prevention services, and case management in accordance with public health standards, state regulations, and departmental policies.

Essential Duties

- Provide nursing care, assessments, and interventions across public health programs: - Clinical services include immunizations, TB screenings, low-cost lab services, family planning (women's and men's health)

- Maternal Child Health Services include Family Case Management (working with mothers in the prenatal period and following them throughout their postpartum period with their infant), Women's Infants and Children (WIC), and other supportive programs
