North Central Surgical Center Hospital (NCSC) is a highly successful, Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital located in Dallas, TX. We partner with the very best team members and medical staff in the area. We are an elective surgical focused hospital that performs over 12,000 procedures per year.
FACTS ABOUT NORTH CENTRAL: Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms. We are conveniently located at Walnut Hill & I 75 in the prestigious North Park area. Specialties include Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, and Podiatry Surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International. Under the direction of the Regional Director of Facilities Management, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems
- Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Inspect and replace fixtures, filters, faucets, and valves as needed
- Support emergency preparedness, safety compliance, and disaster procedures
- Monitor for safety concerns and promptly address hazards
- Provide professional, courteous service to patients, staff, and visitors
- Participate in on-call rotation at least one week per month
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital/healthcare facility or2 years in facilities maintenance or construction
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
- Exposure to mechanical systems, electrical components, and varying temperatures
- On-call availability required
