Copper Springs in Gilbert, Arizona, is a 72-bed behavioral health hospital. It offers both inpatient and outpatient programs for mental health and addition for adults, and seniors. The facility provides a range of treatments for mental health and addiction issues.  Copper Spring is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier® with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast. How you'll contribute

A Behavioral Health RN who excels in this role:

  • Will assess the patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
  • Will monitor patient for change of condition and respond accordingly up to and including notification of the physician
  • RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration
  • RN will consistently use empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients
  • Delivery of quality nursing care to ensure that goals of the treatment plan are properly executed following hospital policies and procedures and demonstrated nursing competencies
  • Assists/performs comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients

What we're looking for

  • Associate's degree in nursing required.
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) state license required.
  • Experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred; experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations.
  • CPR and de‑escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Copper Springs East is a behavioral health hospital located in Gilbert, Arizona, serving the East Valley and greater Phoenix metropolitan area. The facility provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment for adults in a safe, structured, and compassionate environment.

Our comprehensive levels of care include inpatient psychiatric treatment, medical detox, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), allowing patients to receive the right level of care at the right time in their recovery journey. Copper Springs East also offers Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) as part of its advanced treatment options for individuals with severe or treatment‑resistant mood disorders.

The hospital offers 24/7 walk‑in access, ensuring immediate support for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Copper Springs East is also home to Help for Heroes, a specialized program designed to meet the unique needs of active‑duty military members, veterans, first responders, and other high‑risk frontline professionals.
