Shift: 12 hour Night shift – Every other weekend and rotating holidays
Location: Holy Cross Silver Spring Hospital
Position Purpose
The RN works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Hospital to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. Serving the Silver Spring community, the ICU Department at Holy Cross Hospital is a 30-bed Critical Care unit. As a Registered Nurse You Will
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

As a Registered Nurse You Will
- Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Assist the emergent patient and documents accordingly on Emergency Room nursing tool.
- Identifies patient needs based on objective data and follows through with appropriate documentation.
- Implements appropriate Nursing actions to each patient that needs to be identified.
- Makes decisions that reflect both knowledge of facts and sound judgment.
- Discusses with and includes patient and/or family significant other about planned patient care and expected outcomes and documents same.
- Identifies and appropriately utilizes multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware
- Previous ER and/or Acute Care experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS is obtained during orientation.
