Responsibilities

• Lead patient clinical sessions by monitoring telemetry and interpreting heart rhythms to ensure every patient exercises within a safe, therapeutic range.
• Empower patients through education, providing clear guidance on managing heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary health to improve their long-term quality of life.
• Manage the patient intake experience by assessing vital signs and providing physical assistance to ensure a seamless, supportive transition into the clinical environment.
• Coordinate life-safety readiness by maintaining emergency equipment and code carts, ensuring the team is prepared to respond instantly to any cardiac event.
• Facilitate personalized exercise plans by setting up specialized equipment and coaching patients through their sessions to rebuild their strength and endurance.
  
  

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Health Service Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. OR military CPR-First Aid training.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  
  

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing at date of hire required.
  
  

Additional Preferences

Minimum 1 year work experience as a Registered Nurse required.

Cardiac Or Pulmonary RN Experience Highly Preferred

ACLS required or must obtain in first 30 days of hire
