Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Virtual Care

Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Virtual Care supports patients through virtual nursing services, including electronic and telephonic communication. This role works closely with registered nurses and clinical teams to address patient needs, provide education, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to electronic patient and provider messages within scope of practice and RN delegation
• Assess patient needs and urgency based on electronic communication and initiate follow-up calls as appropriate
• Escalate clinical concerns or transfer calls to an RN when outside LPN scope
• Provide patient and family education and evaluate understanding
• Document clinical information accurately in the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Advocate for patients and support a positive care experience
• Perform additional duties as assigned in accordance with licensure and policies
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• Active Georgia LPN license required
• Ability to complete and pass a customer service assessment
• Computer Skills
• Virtual care experience
• Emergency Room preferred
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
  

Work Environment

• Onsite contact center setting
• Virtual patient care and electronic documentation
  
  

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Monday–Friday, Day Shift
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  
  

Pay

• $30 – $35 per hour

This is a Contract position based out of Duluth, GA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
