A recognized Northern New York is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their inpatient mental health facilities in St. Lawrence County.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Full-time, including weekends
• Hours: 7am to 7:30pm (flexible 36 hours per week)
• Setting: Inpatient Mental Health Facility
• Patient Population: Adult

Responsibilities:

• Providing patient care
• Administering medications
• Acting as charge nurse when necessary
• Providing 1:1 care and special observation
• Rotating shifts across units based on need
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1 year of Clinical experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certification
• Experience with Inpatient Care
• Medication Administration skills
• Strong assessment skills

Desired Skills:

• 1 year of Mental Health experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Certification in Psychiatric Nursing
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
