A healthcare organization in the Capital Region is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Vent Unit in Albany, NY.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7am to 3pm
• Setting: Vent Unit

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and assisting with doctor rounds
• Completing incident reports
• Attending meetings in the absence of the unit manager
• Assisting with resident admissions and transfers
• Providing assessments and coordinating lab work
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in an Outpatient and/or Skilled Nursing role/setting
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• CPR certification
• Experience in NICU, PICU, or Critical Care
• Ability to handle pediatric and adolescents
• Experience with trachs, tube feeds, and MR/DD
• Strong assessment skills

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year related experience in an Acute or Long-term Care
• Previous experience as a Charge Nurse
