President Message: Spring, 2014

 Spring is finally here!

Before you know it, fall will be on its way.  Your delegation had a productive and enjoyable AORN Congress and Surgical Expo experience.  On behalf of the delegates, we would like to thank the membership for their support and opportunity to represent our Chapter.   Please make sure you read your Journal, there will be a nice recap in soon.  The business of the Organization went smoothly and we approved 5 position statements.

 We held our first spring local meeting on April 7th with good attendance.  An educational offering was presented which provided our members and guests with 2 CEUs.  Our chapter will continue to offer more educational offerings and discuss issues perioperative nurses face in their daily work environments.  We are working on a fall workshop and if you would like to help, please contact me.
