I am Nichole Reynolds, current ALAPAN president. I wanted to take this time to share with you some exciting things regarding our component. We have joined with Nursing Network to provide you an updated, all-inclusive website. You can log into WWW.ALAPAN.NET to take you to the ALAPAN nursing network site. You will need to register and log in to enjoy the benefits of the new site. This is where we will push out all ALAPAN & ASPAN information. We are excited about our annual ALAPAN conference at Grandview Medical Center on February 24. There will be opportunity to gain a wealth of information on a variety of topics that will help you in your daily practice. You will also be able to network with perianesthseia nurses from all over the state. We will be giving away awesome door prizes including 1 ASPAN/ALAPAN membership and 1 membership renewal. You can register for the conference on the ALAPAN website. Please pass the brochure along to your coworkers. We are giving a discounted rate for AORN members also.

Are you looking to become more involved with your professional organization? We are looking for a few good perianesthesia nurses to join our team. We will be voting on new officers at our annual conference. If you have a passion for your profession and are willing to work with other great nurses to move our component forward, please consider serving as an officer in the ALAPAN component. We have multiple areas that your talents can be used in our organization.
