2018 Annual School Nurses Conference Fundraiser Basket Requests

Mark your calendars for the Annual School Nurse conference this year! The conference is being held, June 3 – 5th in Kearney, Nebraska.

The conference theme this year is “School Nursing is Golden” in recognition of NASN’s 50th Anniversary! There will be a Fundraiser Basket silent auction; and, school districts and individuals are invited to ‘donate’ a basket.

The basket themes of those donated so far include:

• ‘School Nursing is Golden’ basket donated by NSNA in honor of NASN’s 50th Anniversary
• ‘Christmas in June’ basket donated by Kay Duncan, President NSNA
• ‘What’s Cooking’ basket donated by Omaha Public Schools District
• ‘Enjoy the Movies’ basket donated by Omaha Public Schools District

Donating a basket is a wonderful opportunity to work with other nurses and a lot of fun when a team works together to determine what theme their donated basket will be; and, it gives team members ideas of items that can be used to stock their themed basket. Please consider participating in making and then donating a basket by collaborating with other nurses – either in your own school district – or – across districts.
