The Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Nurses Association (NHNA) really wants to hear from you! Important to this year’s ballot is the question to change the NHNA Bylaws to authorize a 3-year pilot program to extend membership to New Hampshire’s Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). As valued members of the nursing care team, the NHNA Board of Directors felt we should extend membership in NHNA to LPNs. This perspective was echoed in an informal survey of LPNs and a non-binding survey of our membership. But making this historical change in an organization that has been around since 1906 should only be done with the voice of many of our members. So please vote, even if it is only on this one issue.
