Dear Nurse Colleague:

My name is Marcia Lowe.  I am a PhD student in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in Birmingham, Alabama.  I am completing my dissertation research.  I am writing to invite you to complete an online survey for a research study entitled, “ An exploratory study of the influence of Perceived Organizational Support, So-Worker Social support, the Nursing Practice Environment, and Nurses Demographics on Emotional Exhaustion (EE) in Palliative Care Nurses”.   This survey will examine the influence of perceived organizational support, co-worker social support, the nursing practice environment, and nurse demographics on emotional exhaustion (EE) in palliative care nurses.  The knowledge gained from the survey may lead to improvements in the palliative care work environment.
