We’re excited to share plans underway for launching our 2019 preceptor
program. Interest in The Maine Nursing Preceptor Education Program
continues to grow and at the recommendation of the Preceptor Program
Advisory Team, we continue to expand our learning audience. This year, we’re looking
forward to welcoming nurse managers and school nurses to
the learning audience. Nurse managers and school nurses will be joining the cohorts
of registered nurses interested in obtaining the knowledge and skills to assume the
preceptor role and clinical nurse educators interested in further developing their

knowledge and skills, to work in partnership with

RN program attendees from their organizations, to guide and support the

on-going development of new preceptors.
