Call for Nominations for the South Central Connecticut Chapter of AACN Board of Directors

We are calling for nominations for the SCCC-AACN Board of Directors for July 2019 to July 2020! Board members must be able to participate in monthly board meetings. We currently have the following openings:
- Program-elect: 2 year term, the first year, you will be mentored by the Program Chair. The second year, as Program Chair, you will supervises the organization and planning of the educational programs provided by the chapter (on average 3-4 annually). This includes website responsibilities for program advertising, working closely with the Treasurer to assure the accurate tracking of program expenses, mentoring the program-elect and other duties as described by the SCCC Board of Directors and Chapter Governance Manual. This position requires a BSN or higher.
- Treasurer-elect: A one year term supporting and receiving mentor ship from the current treasure, followed by a 2 year term as treasurer. Together with the treasurer you will prepare an annual budget, supervise the maintenance of all funds and securities of the chapter and perform other financial duties related to the website, complete AACN financial reports & mentor the treasurer-elect, & other duties as prescribed by the SCCC Board of Directors and Chapter Governance Manual.
- Membership: 1 year term, you will be responsible for maintaining the chapter database, connecting with expired/expiring members, encouraging membership at chapter activities, assisting with the Ambassador program, members in accordance with the Bylaws & other duties as prescribed by the SCCC Board of Directors and Chapter Governance Manual.
