Exploring Cultural and Family Dynamics at End of Life (using the film The Farewell)

This program will explore some cultural and family dynamics when facing advanced illness or end of life. This program will consist of viewing the newly released film The Farewell, followed by a group discussion facilitated by Mary Crowe, LICSW, ACHP-SW, Director of Professional and Community Education at Care Dimensions.

A Cinema & CEU night special presentation Tuesday, November 19, 2019, 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. Registration and dinner 5:15 – 8:00 p.m. Viewing and discussion Dinner will be provided. The program will start promptly at 5:15 p.m.

Peabody’s Black Box Theater Arcworks Community Art Center 22 Foster Street, Peabody, MA

This program will explore some cultural and family dynamics when facing advanced illness or end of life. This program will consist of viewing the newly released film The Farewell, followed by a group discussion facilitated by Mary Crowe, LICSW, ACHP-SW, Director of Professional and Community Education at Care Dimensions.

The program meets the requirements of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing at 244 CMR 5.00 for 3 contact hours.
