The official launch of "Nursing now NAINA" took place during the Clinical Excellence Conference 2019 National Association of Indian Nurses of America (NAINA). NAINA’s vision and goals align with the campaign focus. The official launch of Nursing Now – NAINA events takes place on November 2nd, 2019 during the ‘2019 Clinical Excellence Conference’. The theme of the Clinical Excellence Conference - “Population Health: Bridging Gaps and Improving Access to Care” aligns with the overarching aim of the campaign. Clinical Excellence Conference is a venue for NAINA nurses to share examples of best clinical practice which is a focus of the campaign. For these reasons, NAINA chose this event as a platform to launch the campaign at the organization.

Susan Michaels-Strasser, Ph.D., MPH, RN, FAAN, Senior Implementation Director & Associate Director for Nursing Programs at Columbia University will discuss “ Nursing Now: Empowering Nurses and Tackling Health Care Challenges” which marks the official launch of NAINA’s activities related to the campaign. NAINA is planning activities where NAINA nurses will have opportunities to improve their competencies, enhance their influence and maximize their professional contributions.
