As a nurse working in professional development, I have an intense passion for nursing and am equally jazzed about fun, meaningful education offerings.  I enjoy creating and delivering instruction that generates joy, sparks interest, stimulates discussion, and causes participants to reflect on their practice.  It is my intention that the High Sierra Nurses in Professional Development (HS NPD) affiliate brings together like-minded educators who share with and learn from one another.  Our ultimate goal is to elevate professional development in the Northern Nevada, Northern California, and Sierra Nevada areas.  Please join us in mindfully advancing our practice, working towards NPD certification, networking with colleagues, and hosting diverse educational events for our region.
