Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) offer so much more than a degree to those who attend these institutions of higher learning. Many graduates from schools such as Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama reveal that their reasons for choosing their HBCU and what they actually discovered about themselves and their culture had so much more meaning than the degree they earned.
