Happy New Year! 2020 is The Year of the Nurse!
Happy New Year everyone!
I hope you had a joyful holiday season. I am thrilled that ANA has designated 2020 as Year of Nurse! What a great opportunity to focus on resiliency, nursing advocacy, and growing personally as well as professionally.
A great way to invest in your professional growth is by attending the ANPD Annual convention. The convention is just around the corner (April 28-May 1st) and registration is in full swing. I am proud to share that Zach Fierro, Jennifer Kirkman, and I will be in attendance. Zach will be presenting concurrent session S116: Data Analytics: The Final Frontier of Nursing Professional Development on 4/29 and I will be presenting S304: Tapestry of Wellness: Designing a Navajo Nurse Residency Program, on Friday, May 1st. I will also have a poster session displaying my doctoral research work. We hope you join us there. It is a wonderful experience, great networking, and you learn so much from others just like you across the country. Don’t forget, there is a group discount when you register 3 or more people at once. For this post, I enabled comments to share. Make a comment below if you are registered or planning on attending!
The NM-ANPD Board is in planning our annual business with an update to share with our members coming soon. Stay Tuned for more info.
Warm regards,
