Here is a list of CE options through other organizations.

• Western Schools has released a free course: Coronavirus (COVID-19) 101 for Nursing Professionals Email them at ce@westernschools.com or call at 1-800-953-8731. Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm EST. Get signed up for email CE notifications.
• Medscape Nurses Education https://www.medscape.org/nurses?src=wnl_cmemp_200320_mscpedu_nurs&impID=2318518 You do need to sign up and create a login account for Medscape, but it’s free.
• Center for School Health Services provides free online learning.  Please see their website to sign into the learning management system to access the webinars. schoolhealthny.com
• Think Cultural Health has a free online training for nurses with 9 contact hours. https://thinkculturalhealth.hhs.gov/education/nurses

• Free access to relevant online continuing nursing education courses (These courses are free to all nurses, not just Sigma members.) One course is designed for nurse faculty to use with their students needing leadership content and whose programs of study have been impacted. Other courses are designed to support those in clinical practice, at the bedside, in the clinic, or in a leadership position and are focused on ethics and nurses’ willingness to work under challenging conditions. To access these free courses, you must be logged in to your Sigma account. The five free courses will be at the top of the page. Know a nurse who isn’t a Sigma member? They can register here for free! If you are having issues accessing these free courses, view our troubleshooting instructions. Free webinars with content taught by experts in communication and debriefing, ethics and more. (These webinars are also free to all nurses regardless of Sigma membership status.)
• Department of Health - a library of online independent study courses always available. You may find them at https://odh.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/odh/know-our-programs/schoolnursingprogram/media/online_continuing_education_independent_%2Bstudy They are free, specific to school nursing and offer CNEs. Anyone is welcome to take them!
• Join RNsights for free by clicking here. RNsights is an online platform changing the way Healthcare professionals receive information, access free continuing education and webinar, and engage with and influence the industries who serve them.
• AaNA offers free CE opportunities through TUESDAY TALKS at 6 pm. Find them on facebook.com/AlaskaNurses or in The Alaska Nurse Publication magazine.
