The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home first opened its doors in July 2004 after a group of concerned Indianapolis citizens recognized the need to create a home that addressed the needs of the dying poor. The Home was built to allow its residents to live out the

last chapter of their lives in dignity and with respect. The Abbie Hunt Bryce Home is not a nursing home, a hospice center, or a medical facility. Rather, it is truly a home for those who have no other place to call their own.
