As I have previously noted, many Hawai'i State ENA members are actively involved in the Covid-19 response effort. Including Dr. Kristine Qureshi of the SON&DN, University of Hawai'i at Manoa.  Attached is a Covid-19 in Hawai'i status update (PDF format) which she recently presented. It includes much of the information that was discussed in yesterday evening's DOH informational session. As the Pfizer vacinnine was approved by the CSC Vaccine Committee, most likely Hawai'i will begin our Tier 1a innoculations the middle of next week.

Have you availed yourself of the free CEU offering from your State Council for Hawaii's Emergency Nurses?  See your ED Manager or any member of the Hawai'i State Council for details. Mahalo and be careful in doing what we do best out there.
