Governor Whitmer has proclaimed May 12, 2021 as School Nurse Day.  Among other things, in the Proclamation, she recognizes the commitment and accomplishments of over 450 school nurses throughout Michigan and their efforts to meet the needs of today's students by improving the delivery of health care in our schools, contributing to our local communities by helping students stay healthy in school and keeping parents and guardians assured that their children are in trustworthy hands.   See the attachment for the proclamation in its entirety.  You can also see the proclamation on Governor Whitmer's website here.
