Georgia DPH's Say "YES" Summer, a fun way to increase vaccination rates in Georgia

August 12, 2021- The Georgia Department of Public Health announced the beginning of their Say "Yes" Summer vaccination events as part of their efforts to motivate Georgians to get vaccinated against COVID-19. 

These events will feature local artists and musicians, as well as walk-up vaccinations that are free and do not require appointments, insurance, or identification.

The first event is this Saturday, August 14 in Savannah. Morning vaccinations will run 9 AM – 1 PM at Forsyth Farmers’ Market, and evening vaccination will run 4 PM – 8 PM at the Savannah Bananas home game. The series will continue at  the Twilight Consortium Festival in Athens on August 20 and 21, and Georgia Aquarium on August 28 and 29. Full information can be found at: sayyessummer.com.
