The International Council of Nurses (ICN) is now headed by Dr. Pam Cipriano, Immediate Past President of the American Nurses Association (ANA). The revised Code of Ethics aligns with the ANA's Code of Ethics and readers are asked to become familiar with its contents as the practice of professional nursing and the healthcare work environment continue to be challenged.
