Subject: Announcing spring deadline (4/15/22) for AAUW Honolulu Career and Leadership Development Grant

Aloha,

I’m writing today to inquire if your members would benefit from a grant that AAUW Honolulu is offering to the public.

The AAUW Honolulu Career and Leadership Development Grant provides up to $4,000 for women working, residing, or attending school in Hawai‘i to attend conferences, meetings, and seminars, and/or to pursue certifications that would further their careers or leadership development.

These grants can be used for:

Costs associated with pursuing career-related designations
Trade certifications and licensing
Attending conferences and meetings, including costs related to fees, transportation, accommodation, and per diem
Fees and registration for virtual conferences and other virtual professional development activities

The spring deadline for applications is April 15.
The Spring application is open from Mid March to Mid April. Completed applications received by March 31, 2022 will be given priority over the applications submitted after March 31, 2022. All application materials must be received by end of day (11:59pm HST) at the end of each cycle (April 15).
