The Interdisciplinary Palliative Care Conference 2022: Exploring Culture and Identity in Palliative Care will take a look at why equity and inclusion are important in palliative care and how we can promote it. Through keynote presentations, case-based discussions, and other sessions we will look at the current state of inclusion and equity in palliative care, issues related to race and ethnicity, LGBTQ+ issues, and other issues from our patients' perspectives. We will explore potential resources to help us better understand and care for our patients within the framework of their personal and social identities. We will feature speakers from multiple disciplines who are doing this important work and will learn from them how we can do better in our professions.
