I hope this finds you all well and enjoying (probably) the last specks of fall weather!  I wanted to reach out to welcome our 2 new members (YAY!), and those of you continuing your commitment to PLN Area 6 by renewing your memberships. 

I wanted to share a continued reachout to anyone interested in serving in a board member capacity for the area.  We have been devoid of volunteers and activity for some time, which as noted in the past presents possibility for disbandment.  I believe we have spared that action due to the state of the COVID crisis and all the challenges we all have faced over these past years. Critically needed is a Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and Program Chair.  There was some  volunteer interest at last call out, but those individuals did not commit further, I am sorry to say.

I want to extend gratitude to our current Treasurer Mary Pat Sullivan (and hubby) for maintaining the financial aspects of the area until a successor to Mary Pat can be identified.  She has held this position for many years and does stellar work. 

If you have interest in serving in any capacity, please contact me directly for information.  Please note that you do need to be an active NLN Member in order to serve on the Area leadership teams.

Also, please note that Area 2 is presenting a Fall program which will be presented face to face and by Zoom.  The tag to that content was previously provided, but registration ends on 10/20 if you are interested.
