A Message from the President

It is indeed my great honor to have been duly elected President of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses - Palm Beach County chapter.  For your trust and confidence, I am truly grateful.  

Whether you just joined or has been involved in this chapter through the years, I can confidently say that you have a lot to be proud of as its member. The numerous awards and recognition that this chapter has received since its inception in 1973 are testaments to the hard work and commitment of its past leaders and members which should provide us strength and inspiration as we look forward into the future.  

Our goals for the year ahead are all geared  towards promoting a healthy work environment to provide the nurse the opportunity of becoming the best version of himself/herself to be able to deliver the highest level of care to the patient population that we serve.  Together we can accomplish so much;  together we can reach new heights. I expect nothing but full cooperation and engagement from each and every member of this organization.  Our destiny as nurses lies in our hands - let nobody else shape it for us.  Let us do our part, let us get involved —-that’s my challenge!

The AACN-PBC has a remarkable history which I would proudly share to the generations of  nurses after me.  Please join me and be part of its history.  Inspired by this year’s theme, we shall RISE TOGETHER!
