Each year there is an opportunity to participate in the ANA-Idaho through membership on the state-wide board of directors.

About the positions:

• Positions are scheduled for election on a rotating basis.  In the odd year the candidates are Treasurer and Director at Large position 1.  In the event that there has been a vacancy and an appointment to fulfill and unexpired term, then that position is also up for nomination and election if it is vacant at the time of the election.

Timeline:

• August, Call for Nominations.  Nurses must be members of ANA and ANA-Idaho, and sign the consent to serve/COI form attached.
• Nurses may self-nominate before Sept 30.
• Submit an email with your interest in a position: Treasurer, Director #1. Attach a photo and a brief bio paragraph that will be used on the ballot and also posted on the website if elected.
• Nominations will Close September 30.
• Voting is open October 1-31.
• Election results are announced in November after the board meeting.
• New officers take office on January 1, 2024.
