April 1, 2024 – The Georgia Nurses Foundation has officially opened the application period for its 2024 Scholarship Awards. Starting on Monday, April 1, 2024, students may apply for one or more academic scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year.

“The Foundation endeavors to empower nurses to reach their full potential, and thereby help alleviate the nursing shortage in Georgia,” said GNF President Wanda Jones, MSN, FNP-BC, RN. “We want to support any enrolled students with a commitment to the practice and profession of nursing in our state, whether a non-registered nurse seeking a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a registered nurse wanting to further their education through a master’s or doctorate degree in nursing.”

Scholarship funds are obtained through the tax-deductible contributions of nurses and supporters of nursing to the Georgia Nurses Foundation Scholarship Program.

More information and applications may be found at Scholarships | Georgia Nurses Association | Nursing Network. The application deadline for all scholarships is May 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST.
