Cardinal Chapter of ENA members Amy Barnes and David Short in Washington this week advocating for emergency nurses while participating in ENA Day on the Hill 2024. North Carolina ENA delegation, along with our Cardinal members met with 8 members of U.S. Congress and 2 U.S. Senators from North Carolina. ENA priority legislation included Workplace Violence Prevention, SAVE Act (safety against violence), and the Reauthorization of the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMS-C) Act.
