With sadness I share news that our colleague Carol Blakeman MSN RN/APRN, died in her sleep during the night of June 25, 2025. She retired two years ago after decades of service to our profession, teaching nursing at the College of Central Florida; She moved to Jacksonville to be closer to her sisters and unfortunately declined rapidly from an aggressive form of Parkinson's. There will be a service on Saturday July 19 at 11:00am. at the San Juan del Rio Catholic Church, 1718 State Rd 13, Saint Johns Florida. The service will be located in the large church behind the altar.

Please hold her in your thoughts. Continue to practice nursing at the highest level of excellence and integrity in her honor.
