Georgia Nurses Foundation President Dr. Karen Rawls receives the GANE Jane Van de Vrede Outstanding Nursing Educator Award.

 

Atlanta – The Georgia Nurses Foundation (GNF) President Karen Rawls, PhD, MSN/Ed, RN, FANHE received the Georgia Association for Nursing Education (GANE) Jane Van de Vrede Outstanding Nursing Educator Award for her positive influence on nursing education in Georgia.

Dr. Rawls has an extensive career in nursing and nursing education. In addition to serving as president of GNF, she is the vice president of the Atlanta Black Nurses Association, and the CEO of her company Health Education Learning Programs (HELP). 

Dr. Rawls will be recognized at the 2026 Annual GANE Conference on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Greensboro, GA.
