Louisiana State Nurses Association

The Louisiana State Nurses Association (LSNA) has been reaccredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as both an accredited provider and approver of nursing continuing professional development.  After successfully meeting the ANCC’s rigorous standards and comprehensive review process, LSNA’s accreditation has been extended for an additional four years.

The ANCC, a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association (ANA), serves as the primary accrediting body for State Nurses Associations (SNAs) nationwide.  Through this designation, LSNA is authorized to both provide continuing professional development activities and approve other organizations to offer accredited nursing education, ensuring high standards of quality and excellence in professional learning opportunities for nurses across Louisiana.
